The stillness and coldness of tonight Is a sign that things are not alright It surely hits me hard and deep That I cry myself to sleep You know I am afraid of being cold Yet you left me with nothing to hold
1. I was just thinking about how many stages in life do we have to go through? Is there more to it after this and what about after that? How many types and kinds of challenges we have to hurdle through and are they all necessary? And does by going through all those we can only conclude that we are mature and we truly understand the ups and downs of what is life all about?
2. Sometimes I think most of us are afraid that we will lose our spot in our comfort zones. It is also inevitable that at times we question if we are at the right spot or should we move to another one just to have a whole new different environment. I reckoned it's human nature to always have this perception that the grass is always greener on the other side. However, we also liked to think that we like to taste new experiences, explore new territories and the like. But, the truth is our heart curled and crunched when we are about to embark on that expedition. We are terrified. There isn't any wrong or right because right at the beginning we were given a choice to take the path that we would like to walk. Most of the time, it's the findings that will make us reflect upon our choices. And all of the time, if the reward is good, we will think that we have taken the right step. Alternatively, if the ending is not one that we have wished for, we will start to blame it on anything that is possible including ourselves. I think the later happens more often. The reality is we are all so afraid to face with 'truths' because very often the truth hurt us.
3. I think we all just wished that someday we will be a big part of not only our own lives but the lives of our significant others because to know that we have existed and mattered in their past, present and future makes us whole. Being acknowledged as a huge part of others will somehow makes us feel like our existence matter after all. It's like sharing a huge sea of emotions where we actually feel like we are connected amongst those millions and millions of water particles. Like we are part of something special. Sometimes it's not about the perfect setting or timing, it's about the perfect person. We are all scared that we will always just be somebody's best friend, sister, brother or companion and never quite somebody's everything because people just choose to walk in out and we have no control over that. That's why sometimes we choose to keep those earning thoughts to ourselves and close ourselves away to indulge in the serendipity of the true experience.
4. I do have big dreams - Dreams which I think they are possible to be achieved. I am not saying that I do not have big, wild dreams. Maybe I'm more towards the practical side. So , I tend to ponder if my dreams are viable in reality. Hmmm.. maybe I should not so that I can live in the impossible and turn them into possible.
5. Sometimes you wonder if the other person have felt the way you felt before. Like if there was once you felt this complete, excruciating agony of not being able to have what you want. Or the contentment when you finally discovered the closure that you've been looking for. Sometimes you wonder if the other person thinks about you, cares about you, loves you, concerns about you like the way you do. Our lives are constantly filled with questions - questions that sometimes I think even God can't explain. Maybe along the way of discovering answers to those questions we stumbled and picked ourselves up again and again, and that's the only way we can one day tell ourselves that we can finally stand on our own.
6. I think when you have found the perfect one, you'll somehow know it because you'll find yourself compromising on many things not because you have to but becuase you really don't mind. You'll find that you do things willingly becuase you think that they deserve it. You'll go all out for them becuase you think that they are entitled to it. You do not calculate with them on anything because there's really no equations or any sum of money that can be compared to them. And, when you have found the right one, trust me you'll know it because a day without them makes a whole lot of difference to your life. You'll know that it isn't all just all about you. It's so much more than that as two lives are somewhat and somehow intertwined as one. Nobody wants to be somebody else's just to ease the pain or loneliness. It's more than being able to ride away the other person's ego or to make the other person feels less miserable about life. Some might call this stupid and dumb to have such thoughts about true love. Maybe true love doesn't exist and the meaning of true love varies across different people and gender. Well, like I've always believe you'll know it when you find it. It's hard to find because if it's that easy there wouldn't be so many divorce cases, unhappy marriages, broken families, etc in this world. But, my question is, if people are so unhappy why do they settle for the less? Why they don't go on looking? Is it a waste of time and money? Is it because they know it's just impossible? Is it because they should just be happy with what they have? Deep down, I guess we'll find our true love when we are able to find someone who believes in our fantasy.
*yawn*I'm tired. Nights =) Think I'm going for an escape to relinquish those sleeping moments again.
".. because you can't identify with the world. I want a director who can recreate the feeling I get every time I stepped out on the river court. I want someone who can explained to the audience why one song can instantly changed Peyton's mood. Someone who can recognised that there are two completely different sides to Brooke Davis, both of which are amazing. I want a director who can make the little things the big thing..."
Just like skittles ... the tingling sensation and sourness lasted for awhile. The sweetness that comes after was more overwhelming and worth remembering.
